National Chemical Transportation Safety Advisory Committee Meeting

The National Chemical Transportation Safety Advisory Committee (NCTSAC) and its three subcommittees will meet in public in Washington, D.C., to discuss matters relating to the safe and secure marine transportation of hazardous materials. The Committee will be held in person only. The three subcommittee meetings will be virtual.

National Chemical Transportation Safety Advisory Committee; Vacancies

The U.S. Coast Guard is accepting applications to fill six vacancies on the National Chemical Transportation Safety Advisory Committee (NCTSAC). The NCTSAC advises the Secretary of Homeland Security, via the Commandant of the U.S. Coast Guard, on matters relating to the safe and secure marine transportation of hazardous materials.

NCTSAC Update

The National Chemical Transportation Safety Advisory Committee (NCTSAC) was created in 2018, continuing the work of the legacy Chemical Transportation Advisory Committee (CTAC), in existence since 1949.
