Coast Guard Office of Marine Environmental Response Policy seeking public input on Maritime Oil Spill Response Plan Advisory Group

The Coast Guard’s Office of Marine Environmental Response Policy (CG-MER) is still seeking input from the public on the Maritime Oil-Spill Response Plan Advisory Group recommendations for changes to the Coast Guard’s Vessel Response Plan (VRP) program and policies in the Federal Register (Docket No. USCG-2022-0702).

Notice of upcoming cancellation of CVC-WI-014(1) and CG-CVC Policy Letter 21-01 (Change 1), regarding enforcement of MARPOL Annex VI Regulation 13.5.1.2.

Policy Letter 21-01 and CVC-WI-014(1) will be cancelled on December 31, 2023, at which time all new engines installed on ships must comply with applicable MARPOL Annex VI Reg 13 Tier III requirements.
