Update to CG CVC-WI-010(3), OCMI Guidance on Special Consideration for 46 CFR Subchapter M Vessels

The Coast Guard Office of Commercial Vessel Compliance has announced the update of Work Instruction (CVC-WI-010(3)) OCMI Guidance on Special Consideration for 46 CFR Subchapter M Vessels.  

This work instruction was updated, in coordination with the Coast Guard Headquarters Office of Design and Engineering Standards (CG-ENG), to add guidance on use of alternative visual distress signal (eVDSD) and on the use of alternative line throwing appliances. A complete list of changes can be found at the beginning of the document which has been posted on the Office of Commercial Vessel Compliance website.
