The National Merchant Marine Personnel Advisory Committee will conduct a series of meetings over two days in Bronx, NY to discuss issues relating to personnel in the United States Merchant Marine including the training, qualifications, certification, documentation, and fitness of mariners. All meetings will be open to public.

Announcing Availability of Draft National Guidance on Offshore Munitions for Public Comment and Public Informational Webinar

On August 25, 2023, the U.S. Committee on the Marine Transportation System published a notice of availability for a 30-day public comment period on its proposed National Guidance for Industry on Responding to Munitions and Explosives of Concern in U.S. Federal Waters.
