National Chemical Transportation Safety Advisory Committee Meeting

The National Chemical Transportation Safety Advisory Committee will conduct a series of meetings over three days in League City, TX, to discuss matters relating to the safe and secure marine transportation of hazardous materials. The subcommittee meetings will also be available by videoconference for those unable to attend in person, however the full committee meeting will be held in person only. All meetings will be open to the public.

MSIB 12-23 Release of New Coastal Zone Area Contingency Plan Architecture

The U.S. Coast Guard announced the release of a new Area Continency Plan (ACP) architecture for ACPs covering the coastal zones of the United States and its territories. This new architecture represents the first major overhaul of ACP structure in over 25 years.
