MIAMI — The U.S. Coast Guard is scheduled to hold a press conference, Thursday, highlighting the offload of over 45,600 pounds of illicit narcotics worth more than $517.5 million at Port Everglades.

What: The Coast Guard is scheduled to hold a press conference discussing the results of 14 interdictions by the crews of U.S. Coast Guard cutters Stone and Mohawk, with an embarked Helicopter Interdiction Tactical Squadron aircrews and Tactical Law Enforcement Team-Pacific law enforcement detachment, and with the assistance of partner agencies during operations in the Eastern Pacific Ocean.
Where: Berth 22, Port Everglades - 1800 SE 20th St, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316.
When: Thursday, 10:30 a.m., March 20. Media are asked to arrive no later than 8 a.m. due to security screening requirements. Screening will occur at Terminal 21 (location linked here). Media are reminded that they need to go through Port Everglades check points first to access the offload event.
