SEATTLE – The Coast Guard has published the final Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement (PEIS) for the Base Seattle Modernization Project in the Federal Register, Docket USCG-2021-0183. The final PEIS will be available for review until December 15, 2024. The Coast Guard will issue its decision to either implement or not implement the proposed action after December 15, 2024. If the Coast Guard decides to implement the proposed action, the Record of Decision will detail the selected alternative and any necessary mitigation measures.
