MEDIA ADVISORY: Coast Guard to honor Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries agent with Lifesaving Medal

WHAT: U.S. Coast Guard Silver Lifesaving Medal presentation to Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries Sgt. Stephen Rhodes for his heroic actions where he saved nine lives in May of 2022.

WHERE: National Association of State Boating Law Administrators 2024 Annual Conference taking place at the New Orleans Sheraton Hotel, 500 Canal St, New Orleans, LA, 70130

WHEN: Tuesday, Sep. 17, at 5 p.m.

WHO: Madison Sheahan, Secretary of the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries and Capt. Al Moore, Coast Guard Eighth District chief of prevention will present the award to Sgt. Rhodes.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Sgt. Rhodes will be available for interviews following the award presentation.
