MEDIA ADVISORY: U.S. Coast Guard to hold press conference ahead of Titan Marine Board of Investigation hearing

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. — The U.S. Coast Guard will hold a press conference Sunday at 11 a.m. to discuss the upcoming Marine Board of Investigation (MBI) hearing into the loss of the Titan submersible.

When: Sept. 15, 2024, at 11 a.m.

Where: Charleston County Council Building,
4045 Bridge View Drive, North Charleston

The press conference will provide an overview of the investigation process and the upcoming hearing procedures concerning the loss of the Titan submersible. Media will have the opportunity to ask questions specifically related to the procedural aspects of the Titan MBI. 

Media representatives planning to attend are requested to RSVP to Chief Warrant Officer Melissa Leake at mediarelations@uscg.mil no later than Sept. 13, 2024, to secure access arrangements and receive updates.
