Coast Guard 11th District public affairs office has a new phone number for media

ALAMEDA, Calif. — The Coast Guard 11th District public affairs office has consolidated phone numbers for three offices located in Alameda, San Diego and Los Angeles/Long Beach into one shared phone number with options to route callers to each individual office, after hours on-call personnel and voicemail.

Media members are invited to call (206) 815-6689 for all media inquiries regarding Coast Guard operations in California, Nevada, Utah and Arizona.

Press 1 for the Los Angeles/Long Beach office

Press 2 for the San Diego office

Press 3 for the San Francisco/Alameda office for operations in Northern California up to Oregon/California border.

Press 4 for the after hours on-call personnel (4 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. M-F, weekends and holidays).

Press 5 to leave a voicemail

Media who have saved cellphone numbers for direct contact with Coast Guard District 11 public affairs specialists may continue to use those numbers.
