MEDIA ADVISORY: Coast Guard available for interview for National Lighthouse Day near Pensacola, Florida.

WHAT: The Coast Guard and Pensacola Lighthouse & Maritime Museum to hold a National Lighthouse Day event with static displays, food and family friendly activities. 

WHO: Coast Guard Aids to Navigation Team (ANT) Pensacola, Pensacola Lighthouse & Maritime Museum.

WHEN: Aug. 7, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

WHERE: Pensacola Lighthouse & Maritime Museum, 2081 Radford Boulevard, Pensacola, Florida 32508. 

PENSACOLA, Fla. — The Coast Guard and the Pensacola Lighthouse Maritime Museum are scheduled to host a National Lighthouse Day celebration at the Pensacola Lighthouse Maritime Museum, Wednesday. 

The event is a family friendly educational event that will include a 26-foot trailerable aids to navigation boat (TANB) static display, bounce houses, yard games, free tours and food. A representative from Coast Guard ANT Pensacola will be available for interview to talk about the Aids to Navigation mission and the Coast Guard’s work at the lighthouse. Parking will be available at the museum.
