Coast Guard relieves Master Chief Petty Officer of the Coast Guard Reserve

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Coast Guard temporarily relieved Master Chief Petty Officer of the Coast Guard Reserve Timothy Beard, Friday. 

The Coast Guard relieved Beard due to a loss of confidence in his judgment and ability to fulfill his assigned duties following an administrative investigation.  

Beard has been temporarily reassigned to the Office of the Coast Guard Reserve at Coast Guard Headquarters, in Washington, D.C.
