ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — The Coast Guard St. Petersburg command center crew is inviting members of the media to a behind-the-scenes training on how the Coast Guard conducts search and rescue planning operations at Sector St. Petersburg, Monday.
Who: Training will be given by Lt. j.g. Connor Sullivan, a command duty officer, Sector St. Petersburg
What: A behind-the-scenes presentation of how the Sector St. Petersburg Command Center receives and coordinates a response to maritime distress incidents occurring along Florida's Gulf coast.
When: Monday, March 18, 10 a.m.
