Coast Guard Station Annapolis to hold open house

Who: Coast Guard Station Annapolis, Coast Guard Auxiliary, local, state, and federal partner agencies.

What: Coast Guard open house for the public to include the Coast Guard station, rescue boat, partner agency personnel and assets.

When: Saturday, October 21, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The crew at U.S. Coast Guard Station Annapolis is scheduled to host a free public open house Saturday, October 21, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Coast Guard Station Annapolis.

Members of the public are invited to learn about the Coast Guard and our partner agencies operations, safe boating tips and career opportunities.

Coast Guard members, who represent a diverse array of job specialties, will be available to speak with visitors and provide tours of the station and assets.

Local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies, the Coast Guard Auxiliary and Coast Guard Recruiting Office Baltimore are expected to participate in the event.

U.S. Coast Guard Station Annapolis is a federal facility and the public is reminded federal law prohibits the possession of firearms or other dangerous weapons while on federal facility grounds without authorization.
