Coast Guard returns port condition to normal in Delaware Bay waterways

PHILADELPHIA — The captain of the port for Coast Guard Sector Delaware Bay returned the port condition to normal, Monday, at 8 a.m. following the passage of Tropical Storm Ophelia.

The port and navigable waterways are open for all traffic. 

Early preparation and communication between federal, state, local, and industry partners helped minimize the potential for damage caused by Tropical Storm Ophelia.
