MEDIA AVAILABILITY: Coast Guard conduct training, promote safe boating practices

Editor's Note: Media are requested to RSVP by 6 p.m., Sunday, to the Coast Guard public affairs detachment Jacksonville office at 786-449-4059.

WHO: Coast Guard Station Brunswick and Air Station Savannah crews invite media to attend an event to promote safe boating ahead of National Safe Boating Week.

WHAT: Coast Guard crews will conduct a search and rescue demonstration to include a helicopter from Air Station Savannah and a small boat from Station Brunswick.

WHEN: Media are requested to arrive 9 a.m., Monday, April 24, 2023

WHERE: Coast Guard Station Brunswick, 2 Conservation Way, Brunswick, Georgia, 31520

Media interested in attending the event must bring their credentials and ID to get through security.
