MEDIA ADVISORY: U.S. Coast Guard Academy to host Bob's Discount Furniture and New York Giants

NEW LONDON, Conn. -- The U.S. Coast Guard Academy will host Bob's Discount Furniture and the New York Giants on campus tomorrow, January 31, 2023.

The event will feature a donation of 50 Bob-O-Pedic mattresses to the Coast Guard's Leadership Development Center where they'll be used in Officer Candidate School berthing. Following the donations, Giants players, including Super Bowl MVP Ottis Anderson, will meet with Academy cadets. Speakers representing all three parties will be available for comment. 

WHO: U.S. Coast Guard Academy, Coast Guard Leadership Development Center, New York Giants, Ottis Anderson and Bob's Discount Furniture.

WHAT: Mattress donations and meet-and-greet with past and present players from the New York Giants. 

WHERE: United States Coast Guard Academy, 15 Mohegan Ave., New London, CT 06320. 

WHEN: 11:30a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2023.
