BOSTON – The U.S. Coast Guard is actively monitoring and preparing for the impact of Hurricane Lee as it approaches the New England area. Our primary concern is the safety and well-being of the public, and we urge all residents and mariners in the region to take precautions to ensure their safety.

COAST GUARD ACADEMY PARTNERS WITH UCONN AVERY POINT ON STEM PROGRAM
NEW LONDON, Conn. -- The Academy recently partnered with the University of Connecticut on a new STEM pilot program. The goal of the initiative is to recruit, accept, retain and graduate women and underrepresented minorities from the USCGA applicant pool into the Coast Guard’s engineering, science and cyber workforce.
