A Coast Guard Air Station Savannah helicopter crew medevacs a 43-year-old crew member from the Thomas Jefferson, a 208-foot survey vessel, 51 miles offshore Charleston, South Carolina, Oct. 8, 2023. The helicopter crew hoisted the man, who suffered a severe laceration to his arm, and transported him to the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.
