USCGC Healy moors in Tromsø, Norway
Cmdr. Patrick Armstrong, executive officer of the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Healy (WAGB 20), and Brendon Mendenhall, geophysical engineer and Arctic coordinator for Ship-based science Technical support in the Arctic (STARC), answer questions from Tromsø, Norway journalists, while the Healy is moored in Tromsø, Oct. 2, 2023. The Healy conducted joint operations with the Norwegian Coast Guard Vessel Svalbard, hosted a U.S. Coast Guard Research and Development Center (RDC) science roundtable, and welcomed aboard guests from a variety of institutions with interest in the Arctic and Healy’s science mission.
