Coast Guard Cutter Alex Haley (WMEC-39) Returns to Kodiak following 57-day Patrol in Arctic Ocean, Bering Sea
The Alex Haley transits alongside the Coast Guard Cutter Healy in the Bering Sea July, 22, 2023. Nicknamed the “Bulldog of the Bering,” the Alex Haley and crew supported multiple strategic level objectives for the Seventeenth Coast Guard District and the U.S. Northern Command, including providing presence along the U.S. Maritime Boundary Line and supporting U.S. Navy assets during a transit through the Bering Sea.
