LONG BEACH, Calif. (April 11, 2023) Sailors assigned to Maritime Expeditionary Security Squadron (MSRON) 11 conduct a maritime escort mission exercise with U.S. Coast Guard Port Security Unit 311 as part of an Adaptive Force Exercise (AFOX) in Long Beach harbor. AFOX is an advanced phase continuous training event focused on Navy Expeditionary Combat Force (NECF) integration/interoperability and advanced skills for deployment. MESF is a core Navy capability that provides port and harbor security, high value asset security, and maritime security in the coastal and inland waterways.
